Paradise Bakery & Cafe
Connecting for Kids We are proud to announce an innovative new partnership between the Scottsdale-based Paradise Bakery & Cafe and Free Arts of Arizona called “Connecting for Kids.” Paradise Bakery & Cafe is dedicated to nourishing the hopes and dreams of Arizona's abused, neglected and at-risk children by supporting and celebrating creativity and the arts in partnership with Free Arts of Arizona. “Arizona is our home,” said Paradise Bakery & Café President David Birzon. “Creativity has been paramount to our success. We want to help share the joy that comes from self-expression with children who can benefit the most.” The “Connecting for Kids” bottled water is on sale at all Paradise Bakery & Café locations throughout the year. A portion of all proceeds goes to Free Arts to support on-going programs. The "Cookie for a Kid" promotion will take place twice in 2010, with the first one being held this past April during National Child Abuse Prevention Month and then again in October. Paradise Bakery & Café will once again donate 10% of cookie sales (or $.10 per cookie/$1 per dozen) from 30 of its Arizona Cafés to Free Arts.
