Scottsdale-based Paradise Bakery & Café Announces "Cookie for a Kid" Campaign to Benefit Arizona's Abused and Neglected Children
Portion of proceeds from every cookie sold will support Free Arts of Arizona during National Child Abuse Prevention Month

In an effort to help support Arizona’s abused and neglected children, Paradise Bakery & Café (PB&C) will donate ten cents from each cookie sold and one dollar per dozen box to Free Arts of Arizona during the month of April. All Valley PB&C locations will take part in this promotion to give the community an easy way to help support the cause while also enjoying one of the restaurant’s award-winning cookies.

"Arizona is our home and we want to do our part to make our communities as strong as they can be," said PB&C President David Birzon.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about child abuse and neglect and encourage individuals and communities to support children and families. An estimated 12,000 children live in group homes and shelters in Maricopa County alone.

As part of an ongoing "Connecting for Kids" partnership between PB&C and Free Arts of Arizona, PB&C donates a portion of the profits from their bottled water and 100% of the proceeds of their specially designed canvas bags to Free Arts. The donations help support the organization’s mission to bring creative arts to children in over 100 group homes, treatment centers and shelters throughout Maricopa County.
