2016 Multicultural Arts Camp

For that the last two weeks volunteers, artists, and Free Arts staff contributed to the success of over 140 children at Multicultural Arts Camp (MAC). At MAC, the children participated in workshops learning African drumming, swing dance, Latin arts, spoken word poetry, and world arts. Volunteers had the opportunity to participate in workshops along with the children and support them in the learning process. Within the groups, bonds were formed, friendships developed and lasting memories were created. It was an amazing and rewarding opportunity to watch reluctant nervous campers transform into confident engaged performers!
