Thank you to AZ Family Channel 3 for having us on-air to talk about all the ways that art heals. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Sadly, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 9 men will experience domestic- or intimate partner- violence in their lifetime. Free Arts board member Tiesha Harrison has a direct connection to this issue, with the tragic loss of her sister. She has beautifully transformed the trauma of that event into her Sunflower Soul Project. We are so fortunate to have her serve on our board of directors.
