It has been seven months since the first sledgehammer hit the building to begin our renovation. If you have driven by in that time you have seen the incredible transformation of the exterior of our space, and we hope you have the opportunity to see how wonderful the interior is as well. After relocating for five months, we are finally back in the building. There is still some dust and construction, but the staff is settling into new offices, unpacking and organizing art supplies, filling up cabinets, and adjusting to new technologies.
Thanks to our Project Manager, Gabriel Howe, with Point B Property Development, Venn Construction, and Studio Ma for helping us create a new home for Free Arts to grow. We look forward to hosting the grand opening of Free Arts at The Bob & Renee Parsons Place for Art and Transformation in the spring of 2020.

In addition to our building, we have some new faces at Free Arts. We want to take a moment to share some exciting updates to our team!
We’ve recently brought on a new Development Director, Bridget Costello, who is very excited to bring her years of experience in non-profit development to the team. Bridget has engaged in elevating causes such as: education, the arts, promotion of culture, and the empowerment of children and women in our community. Bridget has already made a huge impact here at Free Arts.
We’ve also recently brought on staff Beth Garrett, who previously was our Fall Intern for the Programs Team! Proof that internships open all sorts of doors, Beth came on as a Program Assistant in December. Both new staff members will help build resilience in the children we plan to reach in 2020.
