Art Heals! Art has the power to transform lives. That’s why we make it our mission to connect children who have experienced trauma with resilience-building arts programs and caring adult mentors. OUR MISSION

Transformation Celebrations presented by Desert Financial Credit Union

Join us for Free Arts Transformation Celebrations and Tours of The Bob & Renee Parsons Place for Art and Transformation

Courageously connect with us at Free Arts to tour the newly renovated Free Arts building, The Bob & Renee Parsons Place for Art  and Transformation. Each celebration will offer 3-4 tours throughout each day. Each tour will have no more than 20 people in attendance to allow for safe and social distancing. The Transformation Celebrations will feature tours of the Bob & Renee Parsons Place for Art and Transformation, art activities with professional teaching artists, stories featuring the work of Free Arts, and complimentary food and drinks. We look forward to seeing you!

Dates for the celebration are January 28th, March 26th, and May 13th.

Get Involved

Volunteers and supporters make it possible for us to bring transformative arts programs to children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or homelessness. Whether you host an art supply drive, become a volunteer mentor, or make a donation — your contribution matters.

Get a Foster Care Tax Credit

With the Arizona Foster Care tax credit, you can direct your tax dollars to help bring transformative arts programs to children affected by trauma.

Host An Art Supply Drive

When you host an art supply drive, your donation of new supplies allows children participating in Free Arts programs to express themselves.

The Problem

Each year, over 78,600 Arizona children experience the trauma of abuse, neglect, and homelessness.

The Solution

Research shows that in order to process toxic stress caused by trauma, children need positive experiences and supportive relationships.

The Power of the Arts

We use the arts to provide opportunities for children to express themselves and connect with volunteer mentors.
